In
Delhi,
there are great places to go and see like the old fort, the Birila
and Lotus temples, as well as many shrines, and parks. This is a
busy city, intensely India.

You
can see the remains of the original walls of this ancient fort,
still overlooking the Yamuna River. Some of these walls are up
to 20 feet thick and have a wide walkway on the top.

The Birila temple is a perfect example of a traditional Hindu
temple. It was built less then 100 years ago. Very busy outside
with visitors, but very peacful inside with the worship of God.

The
Lotus temple is surrounded by large gardens, visable on a hillside
near the edge of town. The temple is a large open room with
many benches, where all faiths can worship together, but only
in silence.

The
Qutab Minar is the oldest standing Mosque pillar and is surrounded
by a number of ruines. It stands at 73 meters tall with five
layered terraces.

Near
the back there was some other pillar that was very old. I found
it to be a very powerful place with strong spirit energy.
