Manali has the most beautiful mountains I've seen in India. The place where the locals take their holidays. A peaceful valley full of friendly people who welcome visitors. The trip is long, about 16 hours from New Delhi. You can take a bus or you can fly to nearby Kulu and hire a taxi. I rented a Jeep for 10 days, for $600, that included all gas, road taxes and also the driver. |
